Union Investment has owned the HILTON Munich City hotel since 1998. The hotel has six floors plus two basement levels with two basement levels with underground parking. As part of the long-term extension of the lease with the tenant HILTON, extensive renovation measures were agreed, which were financed and carried out by Union Investment together with HILTON. The construction work was carried out during ongoing operations.

All 483 rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies and the restaurant with kitchen were modernized and all central building services systems as well as all fire protection systems and windows were completely refurbished.

As part of the implementation of Union Investment's sustainability strategy, certification of the property in accordance with the Breeam standard is being sought.
